Copying NLA Tracks + Strips to other objects
Currently there's no way to copy NLA data from one object to another.
So for example, if you have 2 very similar armatures with different NLA data, and you wanted to transfer one set of strips to another, there's currently no way to do this easily, besides recreating the strips from scratch with a lot of python code, or doing it manually.
Also, if you consider transition, meta and sound strips, this complicates matters substantially if I wanted to do it with python, as there are no ways to add these types of strips without messing with the context and calling NLA ops.
This seems like an oversight.
I suggest adding a new function in the API for the NLAStrips class, to take pre-existing NLA strips from other objects. That way, it would be very easy to write a script that would copy multiple NLA strips to another object.
How hard can it be?
