Maximizing Search

Currently the search function in viewport only search tools in blender. Why don't we add something else like modifiers.

Example: When I typed "subdivision surface" in search bar and click the result, it'll apply the subdivision surface modifier and open the modifier tool automatically.

In v2.9x the Subdivision Set is one of the operators that F3-search actually does find (if Developer Extras turned on :) But yes, maybe it should look up all modifiers. Also, there's a separate Operator Search in Edit menu, which doesn't help.

Once I wanted to propose extending Properties Editor header's Ctrl-F search - to also look for modifiers/constraints. But then I found this task, and that also seems good - D8927

* @ErminOS * Hi, I just tried blender 2.93.0 Beta, typing "Subdivision Set" in F3-search, but nothing appeared in the search result. Did I missing something?

yeah that seems good,I like the idea of "Search Everywhere Spirit", I just got an even better idea than I had in the first post: make F3-search behave like ctrl shift p-search in vscode (which can search any command on any window). What do you think?

* @Fajar Haryanto * Yeah, turned out: I was missing that I had Developer Extras turned on in Preferences - Interface :)

* @Fajar Haryanto * I'm not sure about second idea: VScode is for developers, but Belnder's F3 for end users. It allows fuzzy-search, so it can return too many results and cause confusion.

* @ErminOS * oh, thanks. You said that it could look up all modifiers, but I found nothing other than subdivision set

* @Fajar Haryanto * I meant: it would be great, if it could :) I'm not sure, maybe that's because the Subdivision can also be set with hotkeys Ctrl-1,2,3... so it has it's own stand-alone operator, dunno.
