ability to use multiple keys as a single shortuct

To offer greater flexibilty, the ability to use multiple 'ordinary' keys as a shortcut would be great.

For example, if you had the keys a, s, and d, you could have the following combinations:

asd as ad ds a s d

So that's more than double the amount of operations from the same very small area of the keyboard.

You already can set ordinary key as modifier. Is it not enough? Problem with this example - if I press S I will start Scale operator so my S+A combination will not work... And such problem will rise up with most keys.

* @IIIFGIII * no problem, I think the best solution would be to not initate the command until the key/keys are released.

ordinary key as modifier is inadequate as it limits to only two total ordinary keys in combination.

Hm, but then what if you want to use shortcut 'a' followed by 'd'..? Wait an x amount of time?

* @Jos * Exactly, a fraction of a second so it's long enough to press all keys.....or perhaps a better solution would be to not register the key/key combination until releasing them.
