Render Music add-on: bundle and enable

Fweeb's Render Music add-on plays "elevator music" while you render and sounds a gong when a render session is complete.

This add-on should should ship with the official release of Blender and be enabled by default.

Can it play 8-bit music in wireframe mode?

Why so many downvotes? this is the best thing happening for blender since Cycles!

I want to be able to play my own music for this addon, and also randomly select tracks from the web to play . how soon can we implement that? (jk lol) :D

Random tracks would be tough. Choosing your own music (just one track from your hard drive) is already possible. You set it in User Preferences.

That said, maybe you just need to have simpler scenes. Then you wouldn't need to play as much music. ;)

Used the addon for quite awhile, but now that blender works with desktop notifications (at least on OSX) the need isn't there for an addon. Not sure about windows or linux. And for people complaining about playing music during render, you can turn that off and it's pretty easy to swap the audio file for another track :)

Maybe just a sound after the render is finished could be good.

Good one, fweeb :)

It would be nice if this were compatible with V-Ray for Blender. Right now it just gongs when the render button is pressed.

Nice catch. If you don't mind, could you file an issue on the add-on's [GitHub page](github.com/Fweeb/blender_render_music)

Done.
