Simple Lock Panel

A simple lock feature for any panel you may be working say Bevel.

You are in the bevel panel working hard on a custom curve (that apparently does not have a save feature) and you just working away but you accidentally at some point click on the background bam it applies just because of a mis-mouseclick. I think having a lock panel feature where clicking on the background does nothing would be very very very nice.

I would have said save custom profiles but that is here somewhere I saw it. I dunno if this one is here.

I'd like an option where that panel stays open and does not go away until you perform a different operation that needs to open its own panel.

Also it would be best if there was a real editor panel you could dock into the UI itself like the outliner or properties editor.

Isn't that what the pin does?

* @-L0Lock- * What pin and I see no pic.

* @crop.circles.studio * Sorry the link has been broken.

That's the pin at the top right of the Properties Editor, or in the Shader Editor next to the material drop down menu.

Enable the pin when you have an active object, and the editor will keep that object's stuff even when you change your selection.

That's what I use when handling a shader and want to be able to handle some stuff in the viewport without losing the shader tree, or when making smoke simulations to keep one properties editor for the emitter object and one for the domain object.

* @thinsoldier * Yep Panels like that. It is too easy to click on the background by mistake sometimes. I have a double mouse click glitch going on with my mouse. 25 percent of the time while clicking my mouse will unclick then go back to clicking, or when I click it clicks twice. It is driving me nuts but I have yet to find a solution mouse click speed etc does nothing.
