Make Collections work like Folders
I really like how collections help me stay organized, but I want to be able to drag a mesh into the folder and have it enter the Collection and disappear from the general outliner. I don't just want the object to be linked to the Collection. I want it to actually become a part of it. Like a Folder. Is this something you're working on?

Have you used the outliner in ViewLayer display mode? It's pretty much exactly that. Drag an object inside a collection and it becomes part of it, it's moved inside (you need to hold Ctrl for it to be linked in both).
