Option to change how value sliders react !
I find that using value or color-sliders tends to not work if you have very small values or very large values. On small values u just cant hit the value you want. On large ones you get a tennis-arm. And yes you can type the numbers, but that is tedious if you dont know what value will work. I cant believe i am the only one having that issue. I think that would be a small effort to realize and it would be so useful !

In some cases, this could be a colour management issue (e.g. γ 2.2), but I agree that this needs attention. Nuke has logarithmic sliders which do pretty much exactly what you're asking for, maybe Blender should have both too - linear sliders for factors and logarithmic ones for values that need it. There's actually way more to talk about (like sigmoid functions) and I don't think anyone will read this, so maybe I'll write a detailed follow up proposal in the future if that's OK. For now you could have a node group that transforms incoming values in a certain way. Cheers!
* @Vladislav Macíček * Hi, thanks so much, i am not alone. Yeah i notices, that sliders behave more adequate in other software. Would be cool, if you could do that proposal !
you know you can hold shift to edit small values? maybe there's an equivalent for large values, don't know, but if there isn't maybe there should be :-)
* @dfer * yeah i know. but is that sufficient for you ? Have you tried to adjust the density in the volume shader for environment fog ? you need like tiny tiny values for it to work.
