Bone Deformation View [Request]

Now in Blender no any simple visual way to see which bones are deformers and which is not. This feature would be especially useful for rigs with tons of bones. Below I showing how this feature could works. This way reminds "Face Orientation" view for models.

Indeed, it could be a simple overlay. In fact, we could have push buttons for each bone-type display, which would include defomer bones, constrained bones and IKed bones.

The whole armature UI needs an overhaul - the layer system is very confusing

it would be easy to make a python that selects deform bones, and could also select constrained bones, ik bones. once selected, you could add them to their own bone layer or bone group (or if they need to be in multiple groups, you could try the selection set addon docs.blender.org/manual/en/dev/addons/animation/bone_selection_sets.html ) edit: see my other post for add-on
