Sequencer Color Swatch/pallet
When using the Add function > Color Strip menu, we could select the color to apply from a pallet. Ideally this would be a global pallet with user defined colors, perhaps switchable pallets for different uses?
Currently you have to add the strip, move it to desired location, then open the properties panel, scroll down, then choose a color.

would be great if the palette could be theme defined
@David Brum: This is related to the Color Effect Strip, but it would be nice to define Strip colors based on metadata of the strip. For example you could filter the timeline view based on a keyword associated with a particular color group.
It's a great idea as long as you can still change the color to anything after adding it. Also, there is now a VSE community (top left) where you can link to this proposal.
