Generated coordinates volume

Blender should be able to make a cage, lattice or something like that that would distort the 3d coordinates for volumes as it can do for just the surface.

I have provided an example of how it is currently "broken". I am using a voronoi noise with the generated coordinates:

Is there a way to convert this example object's material volume into openVDB and is there a way to deform openVDB objects?

* @thinsoldier * I doubt that it is currently possible.

for cordinates it is possible to have simple deformations, but complex deformations require baked voxel data

* @ Vyacheslav * Which could get slow :/

* @Anže * Yup. I am not sure, there is simple way to make free continous and smooth function to deform space. But it is possible to make simple deforms like bend, waves, swirls, spherical, etc. Maximum as we can expect — cube with besier handles for corners.

As you can see, Lattice deforms complex shape very rought and linear between its nodes. {attachment 48965119png}
