Isolate Selected without zooming
I'm waiting impatiently for the opportunity to "Isolate Selected" without zooming. When i want to zoom selected object or component i have 'View selected'. Or maybe I do not know about something?

Yesterday there was an option added for disabling the framing selected operation when you isolate selected (local view). Yey!
You can turn it off in your keymap settings. Type "local view" and turn off "Frame Selected".
This caused other bugs with the local view, but I guess they will be fixed soon.
I looked at the keymap for this, i didn't see anything about making this no longer frame? I'm not sure what i'm missing. I've always found the isolate/frame VERY weird.
Yep, it's pretty annoying. I made a topic on Devtalk about this a few weeks ago, but the developers haven't commented yet.
I've seen other people asking for a way to prevent the camera movement while going in Local View here , here , here , here and more.
Agree... It's a bit disorientating to have the view suddenly changed. I think that everything should stay in place.
I vote yes. I would like to have option in preferences to turn OFF auto zoom/focus at all. When going to Isolate mode - model on the screen did not move at all. If I want to zoom or focuse on it I can do it my self if I need it...
Agreed. I think Focusing on an Object Zooms in to Much is related. The option to toggle move and zoom could serve both cases.
@dominik:
Totally agree!
