Poly Build tool having the ability to create initial quads on mesh
At the moment to begin retopology with the poly build tool, you have to create a plane and set up some snapping settings this can be done automatically . The poly build tool should be able to generate an initial geometry snapped to the surface of the mesh. This is speed up lots of repetitive tasks in retopology.
Reference: A great example is the Quad Draw in Maya. youtu.be/takFYSXDxzg
I hope this proposal is considered.

Polybuild is waste of time. This tools made just because maya-users cried «where is my pulybuild» F2+Bsurfaces+exrtude by click do great job and there is no place for polybuild.
But I upvoted. Because if tool exist, it should be full.
I think it's faster in Blender than in Maya because you can just hold option to click drag out quads very quickly. I suggest looking up a tutorial on the poly build tool because it already can make quads initially. The snapping settings probably take 10 seconds to set up, so it's not that big of a problem.
* @BlenderSplendor * I know how the tool works, what I'm saying is that those settings that we setup ourselves can be automated for us under the hood.
I love poly build tool and i hope it will get better - like having c4d's polypen features: help.maxon.net/us/index.html

and strokes: youtu.be/BRzsRe8L6Ys these is best tool for retopology. Also poly slide brush needed (well blender kind of have this already but sliding over other geometry needed)
