Node-based logic editor
It would be great to have a node-based logic editor instead of the current one. That would help to get a better overview of the logic.
Edit/Update:
I've attached a little example, please mind that this is <b>only a concept</b> and made with group nodes, because I don't know how to add/code nodes:
As you can see, there are Sensors, Controller and Actuators like in the logic editor and furthermore "Additional Inputs", which means that you can use properties or game objects as inputs (for example).
For the object node, you could choose between the owner and other objects that can be choosen by name or with an input.
Controller could have more than two inputs, they could work like group nodes: when you grab a connection from another node to them, an additional input appears.
On of the biggest advantages is that the logic nodes can return objects and other kinds of variables/values instead of just true or false, the actuators could even be a sensor too, as an example they could return if they are activated or deactivated.
The logic nodes could be implemented in the node editor, not in the current logic editor.
Edit/Update 2: There could be two more outputs on every sensor, "Just activated" and "Just deactivated", in combination with true/false it could replace the current "True Level Triggering" and "Tap" system. "Invert" can be achieved with an "Nor"-Controller. Another advantage of the node system is that multiple contoller can be connected in a row.

Yes! That's a really well developed addon, Having something like that built into blender would be a lot better and would bring a lot more people into using Blender Game Engine.
i like current setup. then again, i also like node setup. cant set my mind as to what would be better
Maybe it could work like the materials in cycles? You can edit them in the node editor and the properties panel. Why not the same for the game logic? Either you could use the logic editor or the node editor.
I think i like the current set up, but the bricks being locked in space is annoying,
The current setup works great, but it would be nice to be able to drag and drop logic bricks.
That's an amazing idea!
That will let the beginners learn the Blender Game Engine faster and when they want to go more advanced they could jump into the nodes.
Good job on that idea :D
Now we have Logic Nodes!
this add more cappabilities to blender game engien :D
This proposal is very vague... and it's a really big request. A lot more thought would need to go into this proposal. How would it work? Would this be piggybacked on the existing Node Editor, or would it keep its own editing space? What would be the inputs and outputs of these node trees?
As it stands, your proposal doesn't give a lot for a developer to go on.
I've edited the post above, but you can't add images, so I've uploaded it to imgur.
Strange. I thought for sure we were able to do that. In any case, I've fixed it for you.
Thank you! I didn't know you were the admin :)
Do you now have a better overview of what i exactly mean with node-based logic?
Yes. The mock-up helps explain things quite a bit better.
Great. Is there a possibility to show the image in the game engine overview (rightclickselect.com/p/bge) ? I think it isn't shown because it was added in the post instead of beeing the "title image" (Sorry for my english :) )
Yes. I've made the fix. Looks like there's another to-do item in the code for this site. Those values should be user-editable.
Thank you :)
Something like this would work really well it's already an amazing addon but having something like this built in would be better then an addon.

like in unreal engine?
Yes definitely
