fix trim brush
1 - add an option to enable/disable for creating faceset (i think part of processing time is for creating face set) im not quite sure about this but option is good to have .
2 - match poly count

I think what would be better for stuff like this is localized remeshing. So instead of remeshing the whole mesh it only does the selected area.
