pressing enter to modify last changed value

Blender already allows you press enter to modify the value under the mouse, and I often use this to quickly try different values until I get the result I want. The problem is that often my mouse drifts from the textbox when I let go of the mouse, so I have to go back to the mouse again.

A possible solution would be that if the mouse hasn't moved since last pressing enter to submit a value, then put focus back into the last modified textbox next time enter is pressed, regardless of where the mouse is. This will work because the mouse would have drifted prior to pressing enter to submit the previous value.
