Eevee accessible for external renderer? Like Vray, Octane ect..
Hello
I just want to signal that eevee need to work flawlessly with other external render, like vray, octane, redshift...
If pros want to switch to blender, and they realise that they will not be able to use the feature they like of the 2.8 (eevee for shure) with their favorite renderer of choice, it will be a HUGE turn off... Then so, screwing up the possible popularity jump m of blender.. We all don't want that.
Right now we have a "choice output" that let us have multiple output, each dedicated to Eevee or cycles or all. But will it be avaible to external renderer? If yes we are saved for materials..
But what about light? Eevee light dont use the shader panel like cycles do, if it will change then the multiple output node would be nice, assuming the render engine will use the node system also for light? If not, the info of light intensity, Cone , scale and so.. Need to be easely transmitted to Eevee, to have a flawless switch between eevee and the external engine... Is it already the case?
Please consider an upvote, external engine compatibility is an important topic for blender itself and his developpement into the pro market
Thanks

I think whether alternative render engines are integrated well into blender is solely in the purview of the companies who sell said software. For now I'd be happy if I could switch between Eevee and Cycles without having to fuss with things.
Yes if this 'conversion' don't work the future of blender is doomed for big studios
