Make post-selection consistent for vertex bevel
When vertices with 3 or more adjacent edges are beveled manually (Ctrl+Shift+B), the new vertices are automatically selected as the bevel op is confirmed. This is not the case for vertices that only have 2 adjacent edges.
Example:
Make a cube (you can use the default cube, believe it or not), select one of its verts and bevel it. The vertices that were created during this op are selected. Now, make a plane and bevel one of its verts. The created verts are not selected. If you want to do anything with them, you need to select them manually. The same problem occurs for a vertex that connects 2 loose edges (no adjacent faces).
Make this consistent - always keep new vertices selected (it's easier to discard selection then to make new) or create a tick in the Adjust Last Operation box to "keep selected".
Arguably, this could be posted as a bug?
