Vertex Paint Gradient Tool
The vertex weight tools has a really nice and fast gradient tool for creating weight gradients. While being pretty cool to have I found myself wanting this tool way more often in vertex paint mode rather than for weight painting. Would be really handy to have this available in vertex paint mode as well.

Yes ! And for Grease pencil gradient materials also !
In here to express the same desire. Trying to create a gradient on very specific faces vs painting it vert by vert. Trying to see if there is a similar option in sculpt mode with the paint tool and masking but having trouble with this.

Came here for this! PLS add this! vertex color is how you add extra info for your shader in game engines, and so often you need the data from a gradient, radial or linear...
