Single button to make system offline
Sometimes we install some addons which unnecessary check updates in the background every time blender starts and even sometime in mid session. This is very annoying so please allow a one button toggle to make system offline to have focus on work and have maximum utilization of system resources for current work only.

Out of the box, blender has no tools that require any network to function, so I doubt the BF will ever implement tools to handle that kind of scenario.
Plus, addons that check for updates are not common (the API doesn't have tools for that, so it has to be made up by the author), and so far I haven't seen such an addon without options to control autocheck frequency and even disable it.
If these addons are making popups mid-session, or lagging Blender, or whatever else, ask those addon developers to not do that instead. Addons can have toggles for those things. This shouldn't be Blender's job.
How many addons even are there that do this?
