Weight paint symmetry like sculpt mode symmetry
I'd like a symmetry option for weight painting that symmetrizes the brush strokes, so you could weight paint meshes that aren't perfectly symmetrical like you can sculpt them.
That would make weight painting symmetry a lot less fiddly and a lot more ergonomic.

There is already symmetry in weight painting.
If you simply enable it on one or several axes, it will symmetrize your brush strokes on the geometry within the same vertex group. That would be useful I.E. if you paint a character's torso: you paint only half of it and it does the other half for you.
If you enable the
Mirror Vertex Groupoption, it will instead symmetrize the brush strokes to a symmetric vertex group, which you need to prepare first with.Land.Rsuffixes. That would be useful if I.E. if you paint a character's limb groups: you can paint the limbs groups from one side, and it will replicate to the groups of the other sides.this only works on simple models with mirrored topology, what I was suggesting was a symmetry that works on asymmetric topology, like sculpt mode symmetry
