Hey guys. Noticed that people hardly use avatars on the forum. Probably because the profile page is sending to some external webpage. Can you change it so we could upload avatars here?

if you click in the middle "change picture" it does not work at all, you have to click on the "avatar" writing on the top, then you can select a file.
...BUT if you selected one, you see NO feedback ! ...you have to first click "save changes" then you can see your avatar.
...not user friendly programmed...
Thanks for explaining this. I thought that not being able to upload was a bug, but the button is merely misplaced.
Consequently:
This should probably be reported to the Gitea instance as an issue.
This is complete, per the aforementioned.
Gravatar is a pretty well-known standard for using the same avatar across multiple sites. I suppose supporting local avatars is possible, but Gravatar just works.

Perhaps the instructions could be made a bit clearer?
