Permanently Visible Lock
This could be a thing again insert I looked couldn't find etc.
I like solo-ing what I am working on but I kinda wish to keep the lights on and a few other things from other collections when doing it however you have to select them one at a time or lasso if you are lucky to do this and then hit the solo button as I call it. I would think it would be easier to have a feature to lock it and unlock the eye icon. So that when solo happens it keeps whatever locked visible.
I am currently clicking through the filter list over here but none of these things seem to do what I want. Again maybe it exists but I cannot find it.
Yeah, that is the idea.

There is a command to remove items from local view. If they had a command to add items to the local view it would help. With it you could setup a viewport that only shows the lights and in the outliner or another viewport select the object then in that first viewport press M > add to local view. That would be the best solution in my opinion.
The best workaround I can come up with is setup the viewport to only show one collection named "special viewer". Add your lights to the this collection (it is possible to keep your lights in their real collection and also have them in the special collection but it requires a lot of clicks). Select your primary object and also put it in that collection to see it with the lights, then remove it and put in another object.
