Shell execute on render completion
Allow a shell command or script to be executed on render completion. I often have a need to ship out a render asap when I'm not around e.g. asleep in bed! Or simply to just shut down the computer after everything has finished. I realise that there are probably several ways to do this but maybe formalising it would make for a clean UI/API.

You can already do this currently with the fantastic commercial addon [Render Plus ](cgcookiemarkets.com/all-products/render/) in a sort of GUI way, if you are trying to avoid a lot of coding.
I am not affiliated with the addon author or it's creation, although I did purchase it and currently am a very satisfied user
I'm already half-way to my own solution thanks to help from Jason and Sebastian König. I'm hoping to share my results when I reach a more robust state although the cross-platform aspect is untested at the moment.
You can actually already do this from the Python API using the [
render_completehandler](blender.org/api/blender_python_api_2_77_release/bpy.app.handlers.html ). For a reference of how this works, you can see theend_music()function in my [Render Music add-on](github.com/Fweeb/blender_render_music/blob/master/render_music/render_music.py ).I will make sure I do that. I suspected that you may already have solved this from the description of the add-on that you posted. For my needs I could do this quite simply I think. I'll report back when I've had chance to take a deeper look.
