Light Textures in Blender Eevee

So, I have mentioned this before, but I have found some more information and new discoveries that can help make a Light Texture in Blender Eevee more possible.

• I was able to put down a plane using an A button transparent image and messed a bit around with the spotlights properties and was able to get a working shadow of the A button.
• I am not mentioning nodes for lights in eevee. I am mentioning specifically textures alone. A good example is how the brushes have there own texture section in the properties tab. Maybe its possible to add something similar to that but specifically for lights?
• A lot of people I know personally use this feature in cycles so I know it will be really popular and great to have the ability to use it in Eevee.
• If needed, I can send the blend file I used to replicate the light texture here, and see if its possible to make some sort of addon, or use it to make light textures finally a part of eevee. You can message me on blender.chat with the username MLSpence.
