Allow boolean modifier to "Add" materials to final object state
Currently in blender modifiers cannot "Add" new materials , vertex groups , a mesh data.
This means that if you are using booleans to union object B to a object A , the materials in B wont be added to the A unless the material is already in A.
This is a severe handicap . and basically limits the functionality for future blender versions .
Changing this would mean a huge investment of time and energy ,
But Please consider fixing this.

I recently found out you can concatenate objects by specifying B object as the tip of an array. Object data can be modified by data change modifiers. but they don't create new elements! they only bring in new meanings. the materials are discrete and do not lend themselves to it. for this you need to add materials with your own hands

Yep,modifiers cannot add new vertex groups, materials, uvs.
Strange how blender was initially designed with such weird limitations.
I hope they fix this before going into all-nodes framework.
only solution now is to create a script that auto adds materials from operand B objects to main object.
