Smart project folder management

Hi! It's good practice to start a project by creating a folder for it. But maybe after some days of work you find a better name for the project, and now you have to rename the folder, the blendfile(s), the renders,... That's terribly cumbersome. My idea: Couldn't blender ask me via split screen whether i want to create a new project folder or not? When i do so, blender not only creates that directory (maybe with subfolder-structure that can be adjusted in the prefs), but also names the current blendfile accordingly and saves it into that new folder. Additionally, it should give the chosen project title to every render that will be done automatically and store it in the specified folder - the project folder or a generated render folder if set so in the prefs. And finally it would be great to be able to change the name once via some sort of tool inside the file browser and blender will remember where it filled in names and automatically batch-rename it for me.

I hated the idea of having a Project folder when I was 3DSMax user... The main concern was that you have to switch it every time you open a new scene to work in a new project...

* @damian winnichenko * how about this also gets automated? to not have that annoyance but still have the automation of a project folder which would be benefitial for pipelines.

I just posted a request for an equivalent to Houdini $JOB but its somewhate similar to this one.

This seems like and idea ripe for an add-on.

* @Jason van Gumster * Making it an addon will just create more bloat in the addons list, while its better to make it an option in the startup panel.
