Chekbos that prevent computer from sleep mode while rendering
Hi! I find very intimidating that I constantly need to tweak power option of my computers, because Blender is not preventing PC to enter a sleep mode. It would be great if such option is included. I find it not user friendly to change every time the system settings.

This would probably require Blender to alter OS system settings which is certainly some kind of security issue, especially for an application that can run Python scripts. Have you tried a 3rd party app like Caffeine ?
What? Blender is not entirely written in Python. This feature can be completely separated from Python. Changing os settings is not necessary. You just have to tell the os to not go to sleep. learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/win32/power/system-sleep-criteria

Try selecting an Audio Device from Preferences -> System -> Sound -> Audio Device. I had the inverse of your problem, where Blender would prevent my PC from entering Sleep Mode if there was an audio device selected, but this may not be the case for everyone else.
I don't know if this is possible, but it would be a game changer to me
