User Interface: Save the the modified load/save dialog LAYOUT with the preferences

Every single time I open Blender and load a file, I need to adjust the space for favorites panel in order to see what project I'm wanting to work on.
It would be awesome if the modified panel sizes of that dialog would be saved with the user preferences.

Looks like you've the same needs like me. I've posted a similar proposal last year, but not many users seem to be interested in. It's so important if you're working with Blender for every day or professional. See my post here please: blender.community/c/rightclickselect/vJdbbc/

Can you not solve this by adjusting the spacing and saving the empty file as startup file?
