Alternate Sketchup-like interface
I suspect this is a pretty big ask. I've been using Sketchup for years, and I really like it. I find the UI very intuitive and I'm able to put together complex models with ease.
However, it suffers from the usual problems of close-source software. In particular, it doesn't run on Linux (I've tried running it with Wine to no avail).
It would be great if there were an alternate interface to Blender that worked like Sketchup. That's probably a huge ask, though for all I know it might be as simple as a set of preferences.
Thanks to the Blender community for all your great work and for considering this request.

I started my 3D journey with Sketchup, then switched to 3DsMAX, then finally to Blender. You will be much better with learning how to use Blender as it is.
Sounds like a feature request for the Sketchup team.
You already guessed it: it's a big task. But in addition to that: there isn't really a point for any software to copy another's UI. UI should serve the UX, which is specific to each software's tools and purposes aimed by its developers.
And when it comes to proprietary softwares: copying anything definitely is a lawsuit risk.
That being said, if you have ideas of tools and features that could benefit Blender's 3D creation suite goals , don't hesitate to post them here with mockups in Blender and
