Geometry Node UI
This has already been mentioned twice or more, but I’d like to expand on the idea of a Blender Geometry Nodes UI Similar to Houdini:
-
Icons for Every Node
Assign distinct icons to each node type for quicker visual identification.
-
Default Shapes for Common Nodes
Standardize node shapes for frequently used categories (e.g., primitive nodes, math operations).
-
Custom Node Shapes and Colors
Allow users to customize node appearances for better workflow organization.
-
Simplify Node Visibility
Hide parameters within nodes by default. Instead, utilize the N Panel (sidebar) to display parameters for the selected node. This would reduce visual clutter when zooming out, as nodes currently look messy with all their parameters exposed.
