A new Work Space for quick Box or Product mockups
you already have the 3D model of the box (Packaging) or product (can, bottle). and you just click on the face and a dialog box appears asking for image to be place.
then have a scale to fit, custom scale, rotation , ect. and vie in real-time.

Workspaces are mostly just GUI layout presets, they don't really provide functionalities.
Plus, that's a really specific niche use case. It would be better answered as a community addon.
I do agree that Blender should have a UI for simple, real-world texture mapping, but this is very specific and better suited to an add-on, not a workspace.
