Get back a non-saved pose which has just been lost (with Ctrl+Z or warning message)

Hello everyone.

There is nothing more frustrating in Blender than importing a model with saved keyframes, taking a long time to make a good-looking pose, then, accidently playing the animation, or changing the frame and notice you lost your whole pose because you didn't add keys on the bones or press the "Auto-keying" button before making the pose.

And of course, pressing Ctrl + Z to try to get back the pose wouldn't work.

You have to redo everything, and this can be sometimes a really big waste of time if the pose or character are complex.

This just happened to me tonight and this is not the first time it happens.

Also, the pose should be kept when we save the file, close it and open it again. Because, since I saved the scene and closed it when I noticed I lost the pose, if the pose was kept, I could have solved my problem by just reopening the file. Though, it is not the case. This is really frustrating.

Thank you in advance for your attention.

EDIT: Also, as Jason Van Gumster suggested in comment below, it could also be great to add a coloration feedback on the 3D viewport when the selected object(s) / bone(s) have keyframes and if its actual pose is saved or not (like for the location / rotation / scale buttons).

A simple suggestion would be having a coloured frame around the 3D viewport... or a simple line between 2 corners of the 3D viewport, for example. Like, there's nothing if the unselected object(s) / bone(s) have no keyframes, it's green if it has keyframes and at least one axis of its current pose is not saved, and yellow if it has keyframes and all the poses are saved.

I'd be OK with having a clean way of restoring a temporary pose (that's what the pose is until you actually key it), but I'm personally firmly against any kind of pop-up warning.

One bit of feedback Blender does give is on any properties that you change. If you're on a keyframe and they haven't changed, those properties are yellow. If you're not on a keyframe, but the property is keyed elsewhere, they're green. If you change those keyed properties, the fields turn orange. Maybe there could be a similar coloration feedback in the 3D Viewport.

* @Jason van Gumster * Yeah, I have to admit, the warning pop-up would be too much...

I suggested that because of my frustration from yesterday I guess... XD

Though, if only it is possible to get back the pose with Ctrl + Z and to keep the current pose when after closing the file and opening it again, this would be great. And yeah, your suggestion about the 3D viewport coloration is great too.

I'm going to edit my suggestion a bit...
