More constraint possibility
hello
i just want to point out that constraint are not avaible anywere..
for modifier , for example array, you can build an array with an object , but when you apply a constraint to this object , all the "arrayed object" are suddenly not listening to the constraint , why ? its like that for a lot of modifiers , for example, you cant use a scale/move constraint with an object into a curve modifier . why ?
same for particles, object being in a particle system dont obey constraint law , why ?
thanks

You should try the addon "animation nodes" to achieve such complicated effects I think.
It might be nice to have a "apply to children" feature in constraints, but there will certainly have to be limitations. For instance, the Array modifier doesn't actually create instances or child objects. In fact, anything that's a generative modifier actually just adds geometry to the existing mesh. So you can't constrain arrayed pieces individually.
In any case, this proposal could be improved by showing an example or two of what you would like to see happen versus what currently happens.
