Node editor for View layer
For organizing the collection in Blender 2.8 with the view layer we can maybe have a node editor with all the collection and the view layer created

maybe add some "shadow only , light only , reflection only" ect kind of option , right now it seams really too simple to have its own nodal system
@dodododorian: Yes it's just a basic idea to begin and I thinks it can bring some cool functionality and new possibility

Great idea! 2.8 is lacking the previous Render Layers UI and with current collections implementation node editor for a Render Layers seems like a fair solution.
This is not scheduled to further develop with Everything Nodes?
