You can search for the names of inputs on google. Is there anything you want to do with the results of your search? Are you creating a node or finding a node that's already in the node tree? If you're searching for an input for an existing node, will you click on something and make an attachment, or does the interface highlight the input?

* Indeed. This seems like a bit of an incomplete proposal. Search could be there, but in's not clear what the user would do with the result of a successful search.
