Advanced 3D cursor
Can we please have the OPTION to deactivate the 3D cursor? I know so many people this this is the greatest thing since sliced bread, and if you want to use it, that's great, but I am sick to death of it. It is constantly in my way ad creating a lot of confusion. I just want the option to turn it off for myself and I know I am not alone in this. There is actually an archived add-on to do this, but it won't work beyond blender 2.6. There is no updated version for 2.8 to 3.0+

You can hide it in viewport overlays
There are appropriate ways to make feature proposals, venting your frustration isn't one of them. And when you're requesting something already available, that doesn't help.
Ok. Fine. But, why don't you want to learn how to use it just in case it might come in handy someday?
Viewport Overlays, you can hide the 3D cursor there.
