Noise in the Coloramp
Hi everyone. I looking for a way to put a noise on each colors in the color palette. The idea is when you create a color in the coloramp bar you create an output node to insert noise or other nodes. as below
In this case I focused on noise. I think it would be interesting for the people who want to texture a terrain as an example. to be able to put a texture directly in the sea with a noise in the blue colors and a noise in the green texture for the mountains.
if you are interested in this idea let's me know if is possible. And push this idea up πΊπΊπΊπ

Would something like this work for you? Playing with the detail settings on the "left" and "right" noise textures has most effect.
If you need more control over where the color noise is applied, you can try adjusting the texture with RGB curves instead of math nodes.

AFAIK, Renderman has this as a feature (at least in Maya)- each element in a color ramp has a noise parameter. Although it's actually a lot less flexible for procedural shaders unless you learn OSL/SeExpr.
