Improved text editor / Integration with third-party text editors.
Hello. It's me again with my ideas :) This time I would like to suggest something. I think you guessed it from the title. As a person who is trying to transfer the entire development pipeline to blender. I think people who develop games and so on. You are familiar with the fact that for objects you need to create a description, detailed information, etc., which may be required in the future during development. And also work with tables. Lots of work with tables. Doing this in third-party programs is not convenient. I would really like the blender text editor to gain more functions and become similar to Word or Exel. Well, or integration with some text editor. This would be very convenient and would simplify development. Of course, everyone’s development pipeline is different... Perhaps those who understand me will support this idea :) Personally, I really miss tables and notes that would be tied to a specific object/collection/scene/file in Blender. Yes, yes, you heard right :)

No.
Blender does not need word processing features, tables from excel, or anything else like that. The text editor is meant for typing CODE, not record keeping.
Use a word processor and a spreadsheet.
But neither Word or Excel are text editors, and are not suited at all for development?
I would argue that, while some improvements would be welcome on the Text Editor (which you can do with addons, see Essential Text Editor add-ons for coders -Blender Artists Community ), I also think Blender is a 3D creating program first. There is a limit to what you can ask from a limited team of devs outside of that scope.
Agree with @thorn and @-L0Lock-. For development documentation I've switched from Microsoft to LibreOffice and it's quite wonderful - and a huge project in its own right. Blender couldn't hope to duplicate that functionality, especially when there are higher priority 3D todos.
Something I would like though is the ability to add brief comments in Blender to explain the purpose of certain objects/collections/structures so other users who work on the file understand what to do. I guess you could do this with properties and an Addon, but AFAICT with Geometry Nodes (or shaders) you can't include a description of what you are doing: just a short label.
That's rather easy to do, actually - just go to the script editor, type some notes, and shield the script (text) file. Name it READ ME or something like that.
