importing that shows all 3d file formats

Every time I want to import a model into my scene, I need to browse my file explorer to check its extension so I would choose the right file format from the dropdown menu in the "File>Import".

I think that when importing, it's better to show all 3D file formats in Blender's File Browser, with the option to filter between them on the right side. After the file is chosen, Blender can automatically check the file format and launch the necessary script to import this (or these) models.

This definitely would improve my workflow a lot, giving me the opportunity to browse models with various formats in Blender's file browser and choose the model I want.

The other options under "File>Import" can remain, but adding this universal 3D importer would be amazing!
