Audio inputs for geometry nodes!
Hi, I made just a concept for two new geometry nodes inputs. They are audio inputs that let you control stuff whitout baking sound to f-curves in the graph editor. Specifically the Mic input use your microphone to control a value in realtime, that can be awesome for concert visuals, theatre representations and stuff like this, obviusly in Eevee 'cause the mic input is realtime. Instead the Audio input simply allows you to choose an audio file to control a value. I'm a little embarrassed making requests to blender developers 'cause they are doing an amazing work, but i think that this idea is nice, so i sumbitted it.
Cheers from Italy =)

and an option to access the spectral view of the audio would be awesome and can lead to awesome equalization videos for music.
Animation nodes has the "sound spectrum" node docs.animation-nodes.com/documentation/nodes/sound/sound_spectrum/ it would be great to bring this node to Geometry nodes
this could be a really fun node to play with :)
This is so absolutely essential to what I want to use Blender for that I'm surprised it isn't a feature!
Currently you can have a Value node that you animate to be controlled by baking a sound to f-curves, but this isn't procedural & is weirdly offset differently throughout the animation rather than being the raw audio waveform.
Being able to procedurally use an audio waveform to directly control parameters would be amazing!
This could be invaluable for realtime music visualisation. Excellent call!
Check out Sound Nodes addon! Solves at least some of these problems and hopefully I will also be able to implement realtime in the future. blendermarket.com/products/sound-nodes
Please can we have this!! It will open near infinite possibilities!
