Increment option for Geometry Node Input

Often, when using Geometry Nodes, I'll be using an Integer value to set something (like the size of a modular room) that is meant to increment by 2s or 4s, for example. The current input parameters of nodes assumes you'll be incrementing by a default value that's hard-coded. So you may be left with no option but to have some intermediate values that don't work properly with your graph. (for example, odd numbers may have a bad outcome on your graph result.)

I'd like to propose adding an 'Increment' parameter so you may specify how much a given input value increments with each step. So, for example, you could set the Increment to 2, which would make the parameter increase/decrease by 2 each time you press the arrows/use as a slider. This, of course, varies with what your default starting value happens to be. So if the Default value is 0, an Increment of 2 would go 0, 2, 4, 6, 8, etc... But if the Default value is 1, an Increment of 2 would go 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, etc.

This might be worth adding as an option to other similar node inputs (Shader Editor, Compositor, etc.).

Here is the link to the math node. In it the function: Increment.

Hello. Am I getting you right? If you put a math node in front of it: Divided by 10. Then you group both. Then you could change the factor with the value for the division?

I'm not sure I understand what you mean. I know I can convert the input values to more usable ones with Math nodes, but I can't find a way to make the Input value itself behave differently when adjusting it. For my case(s), it matters what the value reads to the user.

Create a solution with Math and use that or the corresponding elements in the input node. It would be easier if we could zoom in together ...
