Theme Colour for Outliner 'item in collection' highlight
I'd like the option to change this colour here to something bright and eye-catching so it's very easy and quick to see what collection my selected object is in. The current highlight blends into the ui in my opinion.
It is currently tied to the text colour so it's not feasible to change:

yes .. i would like this too.. it takes me so much time to find the selected item .. a simple tweak can solve it .. please help ..
i mean .. i just made my first comment here .. where i just signed up in seconds.. and the site matched the name color with my photo color but we cant alter the selection color in the outliner ... xaxa
pinkish color reduces readability so it should have some other color so that we can identify it or we can rather use a highlight to show that and i feel that is the best way to do it
Read again proposal.
the pink is simply to demonstrate that the highlight colour is fixed to the text colour, and I would like it to be user selected, please could you remove your downvote
