Grease Pencil: Duplicate layer with its propeties animations

hi,in a while i want to have many layers that have the same animation properties, for example opacity animation of the layers have the same thing.

so i was thinking on first,'as example', before create many layers, i can create one layer animate its opacity then duplicate it many times to have the same animation of opacity for all layers. note, i want to avoid drivers to have the ability to make some tweeks when needed in the graph editor or dopesheed

image_2023-03-09_162848903.png but this don't happen by 'duplicate' that is available now it act as copy past the content of the layer to a new autocreated layer but not all related animation to it, is it ok ?

worth to mention, if we duplicate an object in blender all related animation is also duplicated but that is not happening if we duplicate layers

i know we may need only duplicate the content of the layer without its properties animations but also we may need the animation to make only a new version of the duplicated layer with tweeked animation

or also changing a bit duplicated layer strokes and preserviing animated properties of the layer (like layer opacity and transforme.... etc) and thier the f-curve modifiers

for me having two option with/ without animations will be awesome
