Volume- or Surface-Point-Tesselation (Mesh Creation)
Node for generation of tesselation-structures based on points on surface or points in volume.
So instead of the available tesselation-node (which alters an already defined mesh), this node would use the random, poisson-disk- or grid-based points in a volume or on a surface and generates new edges and faces (=a new triangulated) mesh.

Yes please! I always missed the 3dsmax Subdivide modifier (not to be confounded with blender Subdivision) which: "In addition to simply refining the mesh, the Adaptive and Variable Curvature algorithms in particular tend to produce a high-quality triangulation, consisting predominantly of roughly equilateral triangles. Remeshing via the Subdivide modifier can be helpful in obtaining a well-conditioned input mesh for complex geometric process operations, such as the retopology operations". I use this to convert CAD generated meshes to a good triangle distribution so they can be then automatically retopologized or optimized with excellent quality.
