OpenImageDenoise - use custom number of cores to denoise

If rendering in Blender on my CPU, (64 virtual cores) the denoising phase gets annoyingly slow - just because it uses only one thread (instead it should use at least 16 in my case) to compute.

Can you maybe fix this to be possible to set the number of used threads for denoising in future updates?

Is there any way to use OID with more cores/ threads?

Thanks, S.

You can use the Denoise filter in the compositor, which is also OpenImageDenoise. It works on the whole image and is way faster if you have a pretty small tile size relative to the image. It should be the same as the option present in the render settings. docs.blender.org/manual/en/latest/compositing/types/filter/denoise.html
