Allow Blender to choose which terminal is used for “Toggle System Console”
Currently, Blender always opens the legacy Windows CMD console when using Toggle System Console on Windows. While functional, CMD feels outdated and lacks many features that modern terminals provide.
I propose adding an option in Preferences → System (or Interface) that allows users to select which terminal application Blender uses when opening the system console.
For example:
Windows Terminal
PowerShell
CMD (default / legacy)
Custom executable path
Using a modern terminal would greatly improve the experience when reading error messages, stack traces, and real-time logs, especially for addon developers who rely heavily on the system console for debugging and iteration.
