Grease Pencil 'Parent to Mesh' for deformations

Frustration is brewing amongst many long time users of Blender when it comes to rigging GP for deformations.

Why can't the GP be parented to Meshes in order to deform the GP? That way you would deform the mesh, which will be alpha (see thru), with all the established tools (armatures, shapekeys, modifiers) and the GP curves will respond and deform. Actually Lattice is most promising but we need the ability to have Armatures deform lattices the same way that bones currently deform meshes. (weightpainting!)

In order to make GP more intuitive and mainstream, deformations NEED to be easier and quicker to rig than current bone/vertex groups or lattice.

Opentoons has the simple plastic tool and the 'GP- mesh deform' can compete with it for the old-time Blender users as well as newcomers.

Thank you for your consideration.

Or we should call it Mesh deform modifier for GP.
