Radio Buttons in Custom Properties
Radio buttons in the custom properties could be a useful addition for building a type of state machine. However, I'm not sure how to implement this if you want to keyframe these states.

Radio buttons are essentially one of the possible display for enum properties , the other one being a drop-down menu:
But we can't make custom properties of enum type from the GUI, so I guess that's actually what would need to be added.
