Shit, i accidentally entered edit mode on many objects instead of just one...

As for now, download powersave Addon for timely save and when such thing occur just end task blender and open it again.
But it occur really often, and i just want an escape key like in most programs.
AFAIK when the program stops responding, it's too late to ask it to stop doing that.
if u can't kill it AND at lease a thread of your cpu is working, leave it like that, even for a few hours, it'll work eventually :D
Yeah, but like we are in 2024, i'm sure there are ways to just separate the rendering thread from the processing one, to avoid interface freeze, just to be able to type ESC to stop the process and revert to object mode for example...
