DLSS / FSR Frame Generation in Blender Cycle Viewport Rendered Mode

Hey im wondering is it feasible to add frame generation while in viewport rendered mode, so user can enjoy both denoised image and faster framerate preview. Or maybe even better maybe there some way to add upscaling method like i dont know let say dlss or something to squeeze the performance more in the viewport rendered mode. Thankyou

If I am not wrong, the only differences between Viewport and Render are:

  • samples settings
  • object visibility settings
  • subdivision/multires levels

If I am correct, then you could just literally just set your render settings the same as your viewport settings, and you would effectively have the same render speed?

Ohh well, in that case yes sure, but the one im talking right now is about Cycle viewport shading rendered mode (the shortcut is Z -> 8) . So im not talking about the final render when i hit F12.

I just wondering if its feasible to incorporate frame generation and maybe dlss or fsr or maybe other upscaling method to get smoother and faster response realtime path tracing in viewport rendered shading mode. Because it will benevit user with less powerfull graphic card so they can see what happen in their viewport better.
